Intrigued by other peoples vanities and what is in their medicine cabinets? If so, read on…
I love a pretty vanity or cabinet that houses pretty looking products, such as perfume, moisturizers, creams, serums, etc….
My medicine cabinet has everything in it from my deodorant to my collection of moisturizers, eye creams, and masks. I find that it keeps getting more and more cluttered though, and that is why I have to start throwing stuff out, since I don’t like to keep a lot of products around my sink area.
Here are some pics of my vanity, and medicine cabinet:
I would say that a lot of my products I use consistently are sitting next to my sink, or are in my shower. I am using my Chanel Mousse Douceur (amazing cleanser) in the shower now, and my Dior serums, which to me are the most luxurious feeling fluids that I have ever puton my face.

What I do love in my cabinet though are my Kiehls moisturizers and eye creams, which seem to be everlasting. I use the Line Reducing Vitamin C Serum (which is not a ‘serum’ in my opinion, more like a light silky cream), Midnight Recovery Concentrate, which is an oil and helps to balance your skin (it also smells amazing..like lavender), and my HG (holy grail) eyecream is the Kiehls Cryste Marine Eye Firming Treatment. It is not a cream, but more like a silky satiny texture that sinks right in. Its hard to explain the consistency actually, as you can tell;) Kiehls is great though, and very affordable!

On to my favorite product, my night cream: Lancome’s Genefique Repair Night Creme is UNREAL!! I use it everynight, and my skin feels the best its ever felt in the morning. Go buy it now!!! I also use my Dior Serum before it. I think they work especially well together;)
As for the rest of the products in my cabinets, they range from Clinique Lotion #3 (which I use when I am oily bc it has a lot of alcohol in it), Borba Vitamin Serum, Clarins Day Cream, Cold Cream and Abolene to( remove make-up), jewelry cleaner, and then some.
My perfume collection is shown so I guess I should mention it. It is not as vast as it used to be, however I like to layer though, so that is why I do have a good amount. I also use different perfumes at different times of the year.
My latest one is my Bahiana by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantie. I smelled it on someone at work, and loved it so much. I knew it would also work very well in the summer, and layered with my new Jo Malone Sweet Milk makes it smell even more comforting.
The perfume is French, and was launched in 2005. This is what the description says about the perfume:” Top notes are orange, mandarin orange and lemon; middle notes are fir resin, guaiac wood and rose; base notes are amber, coconut and musk.”
Its so yummy. But now I just need to get an atomizer so I could travel with it.

My other perfumes are by Annick Goutal; Songes and Des Lys; both are lovely, and very light and refreshing for the spring and summer.
Ralph Lauren “Blue”, which is discontinued I believe (not sure why), but you can still get it online, is also so good! I got this in NYC last summer, and love it when I am near or around the ocean. It just smells like the ocean to me. Its very clean, but still has floral notes, such as pink peony and lotus flower. The scent really lasts on my skin too.
The last 2 fragrances I will touch on, are my Jo Malone ones. They are both “Limited Edition” and are sold out everywhere: Earl Grey & Cucumber, and Sweet Milk. They layer wonderfully together, and smell amazing during the winter, summer, whenever!
The description says about Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber:
“A beautifully crafted scent that is inspired by the thoroughly British tradition of “High Tea”-the mid afternoon ritual that’s such a sought after experience in London’s most prestigious hotels, where Earl Grey tea is accompanied by petite, wafer-fine cucumber sandwiches. In this inventive and unconventional cologne, the top notes burst with bergamot-the same ingredient that gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive, fruity aroma.”
The description for Jo Malone’s Sweet Milk is:
” That particularly British notion of adding cool milk to hot tea in order to create a drink with a comforting, rounded richness is reflected in the avant-garde creation of Sweet Milk Cologne. Just a splash beneath your favorite tea scent will give it an incredibly creamy depth. The expertly crafted milk accord has an aroma that is both fresh and sweet at the same time. Blended with star anise, almond, and vanilla, it’s addictive and reassuring. Just like the very best cup of tea.

Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and enjoyed this post:)
I am off to work now. Got to be there by 3. Not too bad.
