Just in a Bohemian Mood

Almost Famous- Can NEVER get sick of this one~

There is something so exhilarating in being able to put on a pair of flip flops, put away those huge jackets and boots (ugh), scarves, and just easily and quickly get dressed again! Its quite fun really. I naturally embrace it, and seem to relish in it so much; I guess its the coming to Washington, DC from South Florida made me realize how the weather impacted my life (made me enjoy being outdoors).

But now that its warmer and sunny, I put on my spf 30+ on face and body, and go for a run, sit in the sun, read at the dog park, all in high hopes that I am getting a bit of a tan:), plus its very relaxing as well. This all occurs on my days off, of course.

I tend to use less make-up in the summer, because I find myself wanting to be outside more, or get to work actually on time. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the weather.

Lately, I have been loving those products that do more than just 1 thing for your face. For instance, NARS ” The Multiple” is a 3 in 1 product. I have 2 of them so far, and I am just using them on a daily basis now to see how good they really are. Well, I love them for my cheeks:) As for the eyes and lips–meh! I did try “Portofino” on my lids, but it creased a lot, so I guess it definitely needs a primer 100%.

A movie that I always enjoy watching, and feel that its appropriate to bring up because I loved how all the actresses in it looked, with their make-up so natural and simple is Almost Famous.

I love everything about this movie, and have probably seen it over 100 times!! Kate Hudson is absolutely gorgeous and her acting is so perfect for “Penny Lane”. I just read that this film is based on the the director, Cameron Crowe’s life; took from his experiences from touring with rock bands like Led Zeppelin and The Eagles. Pretty cool….

I love the way Kate looks in this movie. So natural, and beaming.
